KAZI Entertainment Studios facilities are a non-profit organization that caters to America's youth (Ages 7-17) of today. Our team consist of experienced writers, producers, directors, and crew members that has worked in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. Youth will make their films right here on our backlot, soundstages, and HD production studio. They will use the same cameras used to film major motion pictures and hit TV Shows, cut their films on industry-standard editing systems, and learn writing and producton techniques for both movies and plays.

Basic Screenwriting and Playwriting for kids:
Young storytellers need this lesson to guide them through the fundamentals of format required to write an actual movie (Screenplay) or stage play (Playwrite/stageplay). It all begins with a great script. KAZI program is a fun and innovative writing skills to help kids with writing more descriptive and enhanced their range of expression to achieve their dreams and write the stories they want to tell. We believe that with the proper tools and instruction, young people of today will readily create a professional Hollywood screenplay or a broadway stageplay. KAZI will teach, inspire, and encourage budding new writers to realize their goals.

Movie Making for kids starts from the basics on how to be organized when you are filming or getting ready for a play. Film terms are covered to kids to understand the language effectively on stage to communicate properly. They will understand the protocol for the planning stage of their shoot and what occurs before the camera is turned on such as getting actors ready, how much money is need for shoot days, and a preview of what they want their shots and scenes to look like.

We care about explaining the importants of eating healthy and getting the proper sleep to work on set. We make sure they undersatnd that the camera has a media capture card in, camera, lights, and sound equipment is turned on, all equipment is in the right mode, and that the lens cap is off. We discuss storyboard so that they know which shots they are going to film. We cover Framing, Checking the lighting, and to shoot enough material.

Skills
This unique experience for creative kids will allow hands-on, concentration skills and much more. Editing, music, and image & sound FXs are the finishing phase of any production. The time spent in post production will also amaze kids from (1) editorial needs, (2) post-production sound, (3) music composition, and (4) titles (includes typing skills). We teach them about voice overs and having clear dialogue which makes the kids films much more watchable and enyoing. All these topic they are learning about filmmaking is the real educational target and having good sound and good visual story telling is crucial to the learning of making movies and plays.
